Nepal: Asia Pacific Regional Office demands the respect of trade union rights

The Asia Regional Office of the Trade Union International (Pensioners & Retirees) of the WFTU has expressed solidarity with the workers of Nepal, condemning restrictions on trade union rights imposed on civil servants, teachers, and public sector employees. The statement calls on the Government of Nepal to respect international labour conventions and protect the fundamental rights of workers to organize and bargain collectively.
