Thousands of pensioners, from all over Greece, were yesterday, December 14 once again, on the streets of the struggle, in the dozens of mobilizations organized by the Federations of Pensioners, demanding the returning of all their losses, cuts they suffered in pensions and benefits the last years, while also denouncing the further privatization of Social Security and the anti-people policy that affects their income.

Μεγάλες Διαδηλώσεις Συνταξιούχων στην Ελλάδα Χιλιάδες συνταξιούχοι από όλη την Ελλάδα βρέθηκαν χθες 14 Δεκεμβρίου για άλλη μια φορά στους δρόμους του αγώνα, στις δεκάδες κινητοποιήσεις που οργάνωσαν οι Ομοσπονδίες Συνταξιούχων, ζητώντας την επιστροφή όλων των απωλειών, των περικοπών που υπέστησαν στις συντάξεις και ωφελεί τα τελευταία χρόνια, ενώ καταγγέλλει την περαιτέρω ιδιωτικοποίηση της Κοινωνικής Ασφάλισης και την αντιλαϊκή πολιτική που επηρεάζει το εισόδημά τους. «Κανένας συμβιβασμός με αυτή την πολιτική - Διεκδικούμε όσα μας στερήθηκαν»: Με αυτό το σύνθημα διαδήλωσαν στην Αθήνα.

With the participation of 325 representatives from 95 unions, representing more thousands of pensioners started the work of the 23rd Congress of the Federation of IKA Retirees on October 21st. A Congress that culminates the three-year struggle of the Federation and its member unions, in unprecedented and difficult conditions, as in addition to the great acute problems for which they gave decisive battles, they also faced the great problems that arose from the pandemic.
