The 24th Congress began today with hundreds of delegates from all over the country

EKYSY Kaimakli celebrated International Women's Day by hosting an event on Monday, March 6 at the Omonia North Pole House in Kaimakli. The event held within the framework of the acts in honor of March 8 in collaboration with EKYSY and the Office of Working Women of the PEO, was a complete success since the House was filled to overflowing with pensioners and retirees.

Thousands of pensioners, from all over Greece, were yesterday, December 14 once again, on the streets of the struggle, in the dozens of mobilizations organized by the Federations of Pensioners, demanding the returning of all their losses, cuts they suffered in pensions and benefits the last years, while also denouncing the further privatization of Social Security and the anti-people policy that affects their income.
With the participation of 325 representatives from 95 unions, representing more thousands of pensioners started the work of the 23rd Congress of the Federation of IKA Retirees on October 21st. A Congress that culminates the three-year struggle of the Federation and its member unions, in unprecedented and difficult conditions, as in addition to the great acute problems for which they gave decisive battles, they also faced the great problems that arose from the pandemic.
