Comrades.
On May 10 and 11 in Beirut (Lebanon) the Second Conference of Organizations of Pensioners and Retirees of the Arab Countries was held.
The presence of a total of 13 countries (bearing in mind that dictatorial monarchies do not allow freedom of association) has been a real great success.
The list of countries is as follows: Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Kurdistan, Algeria, Syria, Tunisia, Morocco (two delegations), Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Somalia and Yemen, which have participated in different ways to overcome specific difficulties.
Comrade Bachir Hakem, Coordinator of our TUI for the Arab Countries, will soon send you the approved documents.
With this good result (which far exceeds that of the First Conference, held in Tunis in November 2017), our TUI takes another important step for the celebration of our Third Congress with maximum success.
