EPFO Subscriber Can Opt for Higher pension Now

Subscribers of the Employees’ Provident Fund, who had not opted for higher pension under an

earlier window, have been provided another option now. In compliance with the Supreme Court’s

November 4, 2022, order, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Monday issued

instructions to all its regional and zonal offices on the manner in which employees should apply for

higher pensions.

We   are pleased to hear of the Fourth Triennial Conference of the All India Pensioners’ Association BSNL DOT to be held on 20-21 December 2022.

The great participation of delegates, which is expected in this event, is the result of the  activity that this organization has been responsibly carrying out, which has remained present both in the local struggles of India, as well as at the international level, of the struggles of pensioners and retirees around the world.

Dear Comrade Quim Boix - Greetings. Recently two All India Conferences were held in our country. The 3rd All India Conference of All India Postal & RMS Pensioners Association (AIPRPA) and 4th All India Conference of All India BSNL DOT Pensioners Association (AIBDPA) were respectively held at Thiruvananthapuram and Mysuru City.

Comrade KKN Kuttu the Secretary General NCCPA and the Vice President Confederation of CG Employees & Workers has breathed his last today evening (07.12.2022) at Kozhicode after a prolonged treatment in different hospitals including a super specialty Hospital. The CG Employees Movement and the Pensioners Movement has suffered an irreparable loss and the vaccum caused by the sudden demise of Comrade KKN Kutty will remain so for many years to come.

Greetings. I have sent the photographs observing the world pensioners day on October 1st in India to the General Secretary and now to you also as attachment. In India the NCCPA, AIBDPA and AIPRPA took the initiative to observe the day in all places at the call of Trade Union International (P&R). In fact many States and Districts in our country had observed the call with enthusiasm and mobilised the community of Pensioners and Retirees behind the call. The observance of the call on 1st October was in the shape of Demonstrations, Hall Meetings etc.
